I know this post is a day late, but yesterday I got in and had to do some surgery to Spot’s foot … I wore the big toe out on the right foot, so had to patch it … by the time I’d done that and then sorted some other bits out it was time for bed. … Anyways:

Friday, Spot arrived 15 mins before show opening, and headed in to say “Hi” to Bound4Bondage Mel and Daryl (I hope that’s the correct spelling). Then went and changed grabbed a quick bite to eat (a cookie) and a small bottle of Pepsi, put the bags out the way; and as the first few public were let in, I headed into ‘my’ cage (3′ x 2′ x 2’6″).

Here I stayed for some good 3 hours or so; in which time the pin that held the door shut was removed “DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY” (What ever happened to common sense! I have fingers in this instance and could let myself out at any time I so wish!) Then shortly after it was said we need to keep the door ajar as it shows I’m “not restrained against my will” …. ERM, I’m doing this voluntarily, and because I WANT TO … So I’m willing …. Grr, H&S people sometimes go a step too far. … Still, we complied as there is no point upsetting the organisers.

One of the ‘pony’ girls from the BBB Demo turned up and said “Hi” and gave *Scritches* to me … *Wags Tail*.

After the 3 hour stint I came out and went to the trees (the loo for those not in puppy mode); boy did I need that! *Bounds out much relieved*

A wander round the stalls to see what was there and equally get the blood circulation flowing.

Back to the cage, and about an hour or so later Scamp and Mark arrived; They said “Hello” and went a wandering to see the sites.

When they returned food was next, So I came out the cage and we headed off for food…. Unfortunately we didn’t choose the best of places for food, but it was warm anyway. … Back down to the ground floor level, we found another food stall that did NICE ham and cheeses panini’s … so one of those and a bottle of coke. Scamp went to Latex101 to get some goodies, and whilst standing waiting I got ‘pounced on’ from behind with nice long fingernail scratch to the back *oooooooooohh* *heaven* … and a voice of “Hi Spot” … A quick conversation later and we went off to watch the special performance by Dita Von Teese (who I had never heard of, but a big thing was made of it so we decided to watch it!).

After the main stage show, we were asked by some press if we wouldn’t mind answering some short questions… Somehow I got nominated … probably because the other three all stepped back out the way!

Answering the questions was nerve-racking, but probably more so because I wasn’t fully Zentai’ed, since my hood was down. This however made them inquire as to my way of pup life and why I was at Erotica, so a brief answer later, I was asked to show them … so hood up, and all-4’s walking back to my cage, where I was asked some more questions, and a thank-you after they decided to ask Mel some questions. Meanwhile Scamp tried out ‘my cage’ and decided he liked and so would probably buy one soon :).

Not sure much else specific went on after this … mainly spending a good few hours in the cage at a time, and then a quick wander to facilities of trees and getting the blood flowing.

Near the end of the night there was a rather ‘merry’ couple of girls who decided to take a shine to me, but then shortly after they got a bit awkward, but did move on without the need to ask.

10pm came around and time to go, happy and content and really pleased with the day… Home to put Spot’s toe back together and then bed.

Heros and Erotica

A minor oversite to the last post(s) … I got a present from Scamp late October which I forgot to mention *paws over eyes* … They were a little Pup Dalmatian … but with a BIG head … hehe, and a door/notceboard placard with a sleeping Dalmatian on it, and the caption is: “I’d quit work, but I’d have nowhere to sleep”. *Wags Tail*, *Licks* to Scamp.

The start of the November saw this pup being quite busy, Firstly a midnight showing of the Exorcist on the Friday (or is that Saturday) finishing at 4:30am on Saturday morning. Then this pup was doing something that most pups would hate… helping out (or more accurately, being the king-pin … what would they do without me!!!) at a fireworks evening…. arriving on-site at 8:30am Saturday (Only 4 hours of sleep at most!)  and then leaving at about 10:30pm! This meant two really long days, but the weekend did culminate in my monthly visit to Heros.

*Puppy hangs head in shame* since most of the night is a blur to me, but I did spend some time talking to Rover and his surrogate handler for the night, as well as conversing with Mortice and Kye too. This pup also got a present… everyone seems to be giving this pup dalmatian related presents, but I can’t think why *paws over eyes*

This time, the present turned out to be a bookmark with ‘Is this your spot?’ and a Dalmatian underneath. The only draw back to Heros was that the only doggy treats on offer were chocolate covered raisins (*GRRRRRRRRRRs* at Kye), which this pup doesn’t like. However, the night was exactly what I needed – a chance to unwind and be myself for a few hours after the previous couple of days.

Not really much else to report BUT… this pup will be visiting:

again, for the entire three days helping out:

so look out for me there. You’ll probably find me mostly locked in a cage at Stand K6, but I’ll be let out for food and walks occasionally too!

Spot

Dalmatian Description

A very small bit of background needed here:
A while ago I was talking to someone about being able to find an alternative me; a means to escape from normality and become someone (or something) that could be completely relaxed and not care about the day to day human stresses.
Turns out this person could relate to that as when in the Army they were told to think like an animal (instincts etc etc) and he chose a tiger.
After crossing this, the discussion became somewhat more detailed and I was explaining about Spot (Though being careful in what I said, as if the person that I am talking to becomes a bit awkward over the discussion then I will stop). This discussion went on an off for nearly 3 days.
The other part to this story was that this person in question has not done a serious hike for over 8 years (if I recall correctly) and so needed a lot of moral support. This I gave, and devoted myself to have the challenge of making sure that this person managed to complete the entire walk.

A few days later after the above, I was (as usual) at work, and so not at home when said person dropped by to say “Thanks”. So when I got home that night, there was a small gift from him to say thanks… I opened it, and to my sheer surprise and delight there was a Norfolk China mug, with the following wording on it:

“The Dalmatian

Originating probably from the Middle East going back to ancient times. They take their name from Dalmatia in the former Yugoslavia. Bred originally for a variety of uses, coach follower, watchdog, herding, trailing and retrieving. Weighing between 40-60 pounds and standing 22-24 inches at the shoulder. This muscular dog has sparkling round eyes and an intelligent friendly expression. A fun loving and active breed needing lots of attention and love. Very attractive and will thrive on plenty of exercise.”

Now for those of you who know me in my normal life: how true is that to me as a human too!!!!

Maybe there is more to the breed of dog that you become in pup head space than first meets the eye. Equally I feel that I have definitely also got those traits when in pup head space too … Though I would need confirmation of that , since I do have hazy memory when I’m a pup as I do switch off from normality and no-longer think human like.

Halloween Party

The weekend just gone, Statik had a Halloween party on the Saturday night.

This time Spot arrived early with his owner so that there was time to set up the lighting for the party atmosphere.

Lights set up, I went and changed into Spot. … As sort of expected, most the night became a bit of a hazy blur of pup head space. Though I do remember spending a fair bit of time talking to a pup named Milo about Theatre Technician stuff. Turns out he was in the same industry for a while, but currently he is doing other work.

For the first time in what seems AGES Spot could actually unwind and be daft, chewing my chew toy and towing people round the room. Eating chilli from my dog bowl, and bone shaped ginger cookies too. Also I spent a fair amount of time in my new paws, but eventually my hands said no more … so I changed into my lockable leather paws.

About 3am (summer time), we all curled up for bed (Spot in his puppy bed with paw print blanket over).

Sunday morning was spent being docile, but relaxed, watching DVD’s on the big screen. Eventually this had to all end as I had to tidy up and head to work.

Still it was nice to just be able to drop into pup head space and not really have a care what people thought… head scratches, tummy rubs were gratefully received 🙂

As daft as it sounds, not being able to remember much from my point of view should be taken as a compliment, it means I really was Spot for the night and thourghly enjoying myself.

OOOOOHHHHH, and whilst at work, because it was Halloween and we were showing “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, I decided to wear my Zentai Skeleton … who needs an excuse for that 🙂
