Here’s the final part to last weeks fun ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m going to quickly bore you to put things that happened later on into perspective … Friday through to Saturday 3am I was awake due to an event that was happening, and that didn’t finish until 2am in the Saturday morning … but then none wanted to go to sleep until 3am … then up at 6:45am to cook breakfast for 30 odd people (I got beaten to the kitchen so I just bleary eyed looked round the door and was offered a coffee ๐Ÿ™‚ ) … 9am all had gone home, and so a tidy up from 30 pairs of muddy boots in the building … then off to do some tree surgery AND wearing a fall arrest harness (bondage in my mind, but publicly acceptable when used in these circumstances). I’m fairly apt and nimble with a chain saw and can 99.9% of the time get the tree to land exactly where I want it to and cause no damage … 2pm Saturday we said our goodbyeโ€™s and headed home to get showered and changed for the nights event … Off to go and get the lighting kit at 3pm and then arrive at a mates house to set up said lighting equipment for a party … then and only then can I finally relax … SO:

A now fairly tired Spot gets changed into Zentai … harness on (this time the doggy harness), knee pads and paws … I can now relax ๐Ÿ™‚ Phew!

Well, sandwiches were on offer and I had eaten some before getting changed, but once in pup mode food on the table within a pups reach is fair game… Though I only managed to acquire the top of the bun first time round, and a short while later someone made comment as to who has eaten the top of the bun only (at this time no one had twigged it was me) … so for some reason I decided to pinch the bottom half … Caught!!! This time round though I heard someone say “I though it might have been Spot that had the top, now we know”

Strangely (Though quite normal for me) I don’t remember much of the night, but at times I was very aware of what was going on … I know I loved bounding to the door every time the door bell rung, new people … the smell of freedom for a dog … the pats on the head by the new visitors … the “aww cute puppy” type comments being made.

Chocolate rice-crispy cakes were fed to me in my dog bowl as sort of treats, but more to stop the carpet getting covered in chocolate crumbs.

One of the few things I was very aware of (and probably because I was concentrating so much on staying awake, I could completely slip into pup mode) was the eating of dinner. I had it presented to me in my bowl (chilli and rice), and I ate it cutlery-less and as I should … The part that I was aware of when doing this wasn’t the eating, but more that no-one made comment. I know it’s perfectly normal for a dog to eat this way, but there wasn’t any hesitation from anyone nor any form of comment either good or bad … I was accepted and life just went on around me as normal.

In pup head space most the night is a blur … at some point I must have noticed the giant chocolate buttons (normally saved to be used as doggy treats) were left on top of my bag, easily within reach, TOO easy ๐Ÿ™‚ So I pilfered them, tipped the bag upside down and ate the lot ๐Ÿ™‚ … this went un-noticed for a long time, then found out and told off ๐Ÿ™ *whimpers*

The rest of the night was fun. Daft stuff happening all around ๐Ÿ™‚ and I think we watched a film (though not sure if that was in the night or in the morning … ah well) โ€ฆ I know it was someoneโ€™s birthday too, and a birthday cake got brought out with candles on it

I do know for certain I put up a really good fight for my chew toy, so much so I pulled someone across the floor; my teeth and me on one side of the chew ring, their 2 hands and full body weight on the other side. I win *wags tail*
Later 2 people tried, and that was a fairly even match, but when the 3rd person got hold of my chew ring, I just couldn’t get the traction any more and so I got tugged across the floor. Ah well, pup’s excuse was that he’s not running at a full 100% due to the long days events.

At some point in the early hours of the morning (1am ish I think) bedtime came, so curled up on my doggy bed, blanket over me and ………………….. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
………. morning came far too soon it seemed. Food; bacon and sausage; but for some reason I used my fingers (should have said … bed time I was allowed my paws off), still never mind … Food eaten, coffee drunk, and back to being a doggy.

I was allowed on the sofa to watch the TV, and as the morning progressed, people left ๐Ÿ™ Still I got farewell head scratches and ear tickles.
Soon, It was the flat owner, and a friend … myself and my master left … so as the TV had got to the point where we were all fed up of watch the same repeats over and over again, it was deemed the end … I got changed back into civi clothes. Hmmmm, it feels odd being 2 legged again and not doggy like ๐Ÿ™ Packed up the lights and it came time for us to say our farewells.

PHEW, What an exhausting weekend, but worth it.

I would love to hear from those at the party ๐Ÿ™‚ and would also love to know if I missed anything from the event.
Oh and lastly โ€ฆ anyone get any pictures โ€ฆ as a pup on the floor with no hands, taking pictures is somewhat hard… Also when I get some pictures (and as long as the photographer is happy for me to use them) I’ll post some here for you all to see.
