Understandably, the photos in this post all took place before the current pandemic situation around the globe; in fact, it was in it’s early infancy when we went to Darklands and Mr Puppy Europe. This was followed by a few days in Amsterdam, where the whether was not quite as nice as it could have been!

First stop in Amsterdam was the hotel to drop off the bags and make use of the on-site spa/sauna. But not without puppy having an inspection first…

The first day was bit damp, so we didn’t really do much except explore a few shops… and use the facilities at the hotel 🙂 We also found a fetish night in a club, so pup went along to check it out!

The next day, we made plans to attend the Science Museum and have a look around Amsterdam before we headed back home.

The journey back was done as pup as well… bringing the tour to an end.

I hope to be able to go back next year, but we’ll see where the pandemic leaves us.

Darklands 2020

Our annual visit to Antwerp for Darklands took place at the beginning of March – thankfully just before the global pandemic of COVID-19 kicked in. With the Mr Puppy Europe competition being held on the Sunday, I had a chance to have 3 entirely different days out at the Darklands event this year.

Darklands started on the Friday this year, and I had been asked to be involved with the X-Awards show – playing around on stage as my ‘Naughty Pup’ persona. I was basically told that I could be on stage throughout the presentation of the awards and get up to various bits of mischief. This saw me going up to the presenters of the overall awards, the presents of individual prizes and even the winner… and I also got to ‘dance’ along with the drag queens. This was a good, fun time and I even managed to have a bit more fun back at the hotel 🙂

Saturday saw me enjoying a nice leisurely morning in bed, before heading down to Darklands. With the weather being nice in the morning, we took the opportunity to take some traditional Darklands photographs.

The rest of Saturday was spent meeting up with friends and also touring around the Fetish Market. This gave us some time to look at various stalls and also enjoying a nice relaxing time. This year, we did not really buy too much, but it was nice to have a peaceful time to look around. I did also get involved in a bit of a chit chat on stage about Puppy Play and the Mr Puppy Europe contest as well… One thing I did get to try on the Saturday was a Cararra Designs chastity belt – which they seemed to be quite happy to send me home wearing until the next day! *growls*

Sunday saw me helping with the Mr Puppy Europe contest, as well as participating in a drag performance with Pup Trumpet as two Dalmatians for a take on Cruella De Ville. I was also on stage as part of the Mr Puppy Europe contest at the end for the presentation of the newly elected Mr Puppy Europe; who turned out to be Pup Trumpet from the UK.

Hot on the heels of the last blog post about the Mr Puppy UK 2020 Contest, the turn of the year came around and the handover from Pup Trumpet to ThatPuppyHunter was scheduled for early January, at The Dog House in Stoke.

This was also the first time that I’d ever been to The Dog House and the first time at a puppy event since the contest in December. The day was fun, catching up with people and having some fun as a puppy but there was also the handover from Trumpet to Hunter to deal with.

As well as the handover, and the speeches from both Trumpet and Hunter there was also a chance for some photos and to have some fun! During the photoshoot, I think I might have given Puppai Buumi a bit of a fright when I lifted him up on my shoulders!

There are some pictures below… and I’m very shortly about to go off for another “Pup on Tour” so expect more photos sooon!

Wow, was the last thing I wrote really about Birmingham Pride back in May last year???? That just goes to show that I’m incredibly busy and I’m not getting much chance to pup out as I used to… I mean, even this post is nearly 4 months late!

November 9th 2019 saw the annual contest being held to award the title of Mr Puppy UK for the 5th year in a row; taking over from Pup Trumpet who has held the title throughout 2019. I was tasked with looking after the band of judges and keeping them in check.

Thankfully, they were all quite well behaved and did as they were told… even if I did turn out to be a bit of a trouble maker later on in the day!

The main part of the day saw me supervising the interviews with all the puppy candidates, watching the stage performances and speeches, and making sure that I had enough paws to add up the scores at the end of the day!

When we were all on stage at the end of the contest, and I was asked by Brock if the scores had been tallied up correctly and verified, instead of answering ‘Yes’, I thought it would be fun to say ‘No’… so I did. Cue some amusement for a few seconds before I actually said ‘Yes’!

The resulting outcome of this was that Pup Hunter was awarded the title of Mr Puppy UK 2020, with Pup Rogue coming in First Runner Up and Pup Parker being Second Runner Up. Pup Dex won Pup Congeniality.

However, as I’ve always said, everyone is a winner because it takes guts to get up there on stage and perform and talk to people about what makes you passionate!

Some pictures of the event are below.
